I have worked in the healthcare industry for the past 12 years as a credentialing specialist/coordinator. I worked closely with several UT Senior Administrative Assistants in the past 2 years to educate them in the strict requirements of credentialing. Ms. Kellie Sorenson, the program manager of the division of primary care and value-based health and Ms. Linda Burns, senior administrative associate in the Department of Women's Health have both worked closely with me and can attest to my competency.

• Under minimal supervision, directly support 400 plus Licensed Individual Practitioners (LIP)
• Collect, verify and evaluate the professional credentials and qualifications of licensed providers against standards and requirements for initial/reappointment of the medical staff
• Compile and preserve current and accurate data for all providers in a credentials tracking database
• Maintain copies of current state licenses, DEA registrations, malpractice coverage, board certifications and any other required credentialing documents
• Ensure all licensed providers are presented to the FQHC board in a timely manner
• Ascertain task duties comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards including The Joint Commission
• Participated in regulatory audits for Joint Commission and NCQA
