I am a passionate and efficient individual who can work well both independently and within groups. I have gained customer service experience from many sources ranging from working in a university department office, retail, tourism and entertainment venues. I am organized, detailed oriented and I always conduct myself with the highest standard of professionalism. I am a recent graduate of the Pubic History program at Texas State University. While a graduate student, my studies focused on local and community history, historic preservation, museum management, exhibit design and archival management. Relevant graduate courses completed include History of American Architecture (2019), Practice of Historic Preservation (2019), Material Culture (2019), Digital History (2019), Local and Community History (2019), and Museum Studies (2018).
•Researched into the use of technology for community engagement by existing, leading history centers, archival research facilities, and public libraries.
•Researched technology projecting 10 years in the future that focused on best and emergent digital tools for engaging and connecting public digitally and interactively to Austin History Center research, exhibits, educational programs, and all functions.
•Drafted report of our findings and recommendations of potential uses of interactive technology for the proposed Austin History Center’s Comprehensive Master Plan.
•Manage department general information and files, assist with the management and organization of office supplies, conference room maintenance, mailroom organization, department owned room reservations, daily copier paper and toner maintenance, copier troubleshooting, place copier service orders.
•General administrative support, distribute mail, produce copies and scans, submit building maintenance orders, place and track UPS shipment orders, assist with entertainment orders, and office run errands.
•Assist department with academic matters such as grade submission, process grade change forms, course. instructor survey, make-exams management and room scheduling request.
•Assist with department commencement ceremony and other miscellaneous event set up and clean up.
•Prepared Bass Concert Hall lobby or other venue lobbies for each performance
•Greeted and assisted all patrons as they enter and proceed through the theater
